This is the National Portal of India, developed with an objective to enable a single window access to information and services being provided by the various Indian Government entities. The content in this Portal is the result of a collaborative effort of various Indian Government Ministries and Departments, at the Central/State/District level. The International Institute for Population Sciences (IIPS), formerly known as Demographic Training and Research Centre, was established at Mumbai in July 1956 to serve as the regional centre for training and research in Population Studies for the countries of Asia and Pacific region.The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MOHFW), Government of India,(appointed) IIPS, as the nodal agency, for providing coordination and technical guidance for the Family Health Survey.
National Family Health Survey Database that strengthen India's demographic and health policies and programmes .It is a large-scale, multi-round survey conducted in a representative sample of households throughout India.

IndmedThe purpose of IndMED is to index selected peer reviewed medical journals published from India. It covers about 77 journals indexed from 1985 onward
Medind One point resource of peer reviewed Indian biomedical literature covering full text of IndMED journals. It has been designed to provide quick and easy access through searching or browsing.
Open Med is an open access archive for Medical and Allied Sciences. Here authors / owners can self-archive their scientific and technical documents. For this they need to register once in order to obtain a user id in OpenMED@NIC system. However no registration is required for searching the archive or viewing the documents.
Indian Citation Index (ICI) is developed by "The Knowledge Foundation" (a registered society) with the required support of M/s Divan Enterprise. M/s Divan Enterprise is one of the pioneers in India to develop, preserve, disseminate and serve customized knowledge products and services to scholarly world.
